The Victory Dance - 2009

SYNOPSIS

Adaptation of the novel of the same name (winner of the Planeta Prize) by Antonio Skármeta. It is a story of love, friendship and revenge, which takes place at the time of the establishment of democracy in Chile, specifically at the moment when a general amnesty is decreed for all prisoners without blood crimes. Despite this, Angel Santiago (Abel Ayala), a dreamy and brave young man, has decided to take revenge for the abuses suffered in prison: he plans an ambitious and risky robbery, but to carry it out he needs the collaboration of Nicolas Vergara Grey (Ricardo Darin), a famous bank robber who is trying to rehabilitate himself and recover his family. The plan is complicated by the magical presence of Victoria (Miranda Bodenhofer), a mysterious teenager whose only way of expressing herself is dancing.
